Man oh man, these Southern California rains have created the most amazing green terrain. I honestly don’t think I have ever seen San Diego so green in my whole entire 10 years of living here. That’s why I knew I needed to take advantage of this beauty …and quickly, because we all know that its few and far between that Southern California is going to get rain like this again anytime soon.

Vivian and Eddie’s engagement session happened at the most perfect time so I recommended we take a trip to Marian Bear Park in San Diego to capture the beautiful hills and landscape that the park provides. It’s one of my favorite locations to shoot at and it never disappoints, even during the driest times of the year.

Vivian and Eddie were open to the recommendation as they are from Northern California and are having a destination wedding in the summer here in San Diego. During our session, I asked them why they chose San Diego(obviously because it’s the best place to be hehe). Vivian said they took a little adventure drive down the coast and visited various locations along the way. She said there was something about San Diego they fell in love with. The palm trees and tropical feeling you get as you head closer to the border helped to convince them to wed here. I am so happy they picked San Diego because I got to meet this amazing couple and have the honor of capturing their special day this summer.
