Located in San Diego, CA – Sunset Cliffs is a local favorite and has some amazing views. A Sunset Cliffs wedding is a great idea for someone looking for an intimate gathering and picturesque background.
The beautiful blue ocean, the waves that dance against the orange hued cliffs- it’s a sight like none other. I feel so fortunate to live in a place that has such beautiful views to offer. That’s why this was the ultimate location for this beach fall inspired anniversary session.
We wanted to highlight the browns, creams, and beiges that fall naturally creates while still keeping the session light, airy and romantic. The background of the Pacific ocean combined with the fall florals, created the feeling we strived for so beautifully- the fall inspired beach wedding they dreamed of.

Light and Airy
The soft ocean background against the cream, peach and brown hues in the romantic floral arrangements were thoughtfully and intricately put together by Honey Suckle Floral Co. These color choices kept the fall inspired session as the main focus, but didn’t take away from the soft and romantic vibe the couple was dreaming about. The solid white gown from Lulus was a simple yet classic look to accentuate the florals and beautiful bride.
Perfect Wedding Details
The shoot started with the most beautiful little details that consisted of terracotta place cards, beautiful stationary in addition to the loveliest quote by MollyBellink. All these details portrayed the love that was shining through this session, the beautiful San Diego cliffs and, most importantly, this couple.
Bea and Corey’s love was so apparent and was so natural, a photographers dream! It was so easy to capture these beautiful moments for them. I mean, just take a look at how beautiful they look below.
Sunset Cliffs is one of San Diego’s hotspots, its a must see if you are visiting San Diego. The location is named by the sheer cliffs that surround the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Its a spot many visit to watch the sun go down, hence the name “Sunset Cliffs”. Romantic pretty much sums it up and it pretty much sums up this anniversary session too. With the clear blue sky that we were blessed with that day and the orange-pink sunset, we were able to create the most beautiful memories for Bea and Corey.
You can never miss the grooms details! This sweet boutineer was created by Honey Suckle Floral Co. Just the right amount of fall and the right amount of boho that we were going for.
It was a beautiful day, we were so lucky to have had the clear skys that surrounded us. Everything from the florals, to the couple, to the sweet paper details were perfection. This anniversary session will be something this couple looks back on for the rest of their lives. Such sweet memories created in the city they love. Sunset Cliffs and this session will always have a special place in my heart. I hope this Sunset Cliffs wedding anniversary shoot provided some great fall inspiration for you!
