The Casino San Clemente is a totally unique historic venue that has so many options for different types of weddings located in beautiful Orange County, CA. This Fall Wedding at Casino San Clemente was held outside for both the ceremony and reception. It’s truly a little charmer of a venue, feels very mission like to go along with all of San Clemente’s buildings in the area and is located on a beautiful hill where there are many picture perfect spots just steps away. San Clemente is such a fun beach town that has such a vibe-all the buildings, restaurants, venues and home almost all share the same style which makes this venue such a desirable spot to wed. Kaylyn and Adrian were such an amazing couple to work with and I can’t wait to share moments from their big day below at the Casino San Clemente.
We started the day out capturing all of their beloved details. Since it was a Fall wedding, Kaylyn had a gorgeous fur coat ready once it got chillier in the evening, cus even in California it can get a little cooler at the beach. I loved capturing all her special heirlooms that she had ready for me, including this vintage ring she wore on their big day.
One of my favorite moments on a wedding day (ok there are A LOT of them) is when the bride and groom open up their gifts from one another. Both Kaylyn and Adrian had such sweet reactions to their love notes and gifts they received from one another. It is such a heartfelt and beautiful way to start this journey together and this special day.
At every single wedding, the flower girl is always so proud and excited to be there. I remember when I was a little girl being in a few different weddings and how magical and exciting it was to be a part of it, they were seriously things I looked forward to SO much. These are things little girls think of from the very beginning and it’s so fun to interact and capture those sweet little moments.
We spent the rest of the morning capturing candids of Kaylyn and her bridesmaids plus her mom and a few other special women in her life as well as Adrian and his groomsmen. It was a perfect relaxed morning and Kaylyn and Adrian couldn’t have picked a more stunning day to say I do.
I cannot forget to mention the tear jerking first look with the father of the bride. Seriously, I wrote about it in this blog here too, but I am always a superfan of a father daughter first look, these photos are on the top of the “cutest moments” list to capture.
Before the big events of the day Kaylyn and Adrian opted to do a first look and capture all of their bridal party photos prior to the ceremony, always such a time saver on days where there is a lot going on. These images of Kaylyn and Adrian’s first look are so emotional and sentimental, truly captures their strong relationship they have with one another.
The ceremony was held outside in the Rock Garden at the Casino San Clemente. It’s such a pretty area that gives you the opportunity to make it your own. I love a venue that has a simple aesthetic so that you can create a space that’s unique to you two. Another amazing feature of this spot is the privacy of this space. Surrounding you are lush, gorgeous greenery that transforms this historic space into a private intimate setting.
After the ceremony we were off to capture bride and groom photos. Since this was a Fall wedding, we had to make sure to grab those dreamy sunset photos right after the ceremony before the sun went down.
Not only did we have to make sure that we captured the last bit of bride and groom photos before the sun went down, but also had to make sure that Kaylyn and Adrian had a chance to join in on the fun of cocktail hour and celebrate with all those closest to them. Every couple is different and some like doing cocktail hour with their guests and others prefer to take this time to relax, have a drink together and wait until the grand announcement before they start the party. Either option is perfectly normal and all based on preference, there are great things about both!
We ended the evening with the bride and grooms first dance, mother son and father daughter dance. Everyone had such an amazing time and everything felt so intimate and special regardless of the amount of guests there were.
I had such an amazing day capturing these two at their Fall wedding at Casino San Clemente. They were so fun to work with and everyone enjoyed themselves which is always a PLUS!
