This intimate elopement at Pasadena City Hall was one I will never forget. It was such a beautiful and sweet day, really telling of how you don’t need an extravagant day of events to make something so beautiful and special. It was just these two on their special day and I acted as their witness. They had the gorgeous Pasadena City Hall as their backdrop making their wedding photos perfection! The timeless architecture, their sweet vows, the gorgeous florals by Moss and Meadow in Pasadena really made this intimate elopement at Pasadena City Hall come together!

Their sweet words they shared with one another brought so many tears and it was truly such a romantic love story! This day was so perfect, the weather was showing off and it was such a gorgeous light throughout. The couple dressed simple yet elegant and it was the perfect touch to the historical architecture that surrounds at the Pasadena City Hall.

Once their ceremony concluded, we walked around to capture bride and groom images and it was all so seamless. We were able to capture so many fun shots while still making sure we captured the beauty of the building.

We explored the bridge on the upper floors which gave for such an amazing breathtaking backdrop and different perspective of the buildings. We even headed behind the City Hall where there is an iconic staircase with the words “City Hall” written above. This was so fun to capture and get creative!

Something a lot of people think is that since it is a very small day (potentially no guests) that it seems unnecessary to capture details that they bring with them and I always say absolutely not, they are perfect to capture! I think that these details, whether they be your special bracelet that was passed down to you or your vow books you had made-they are all so significant and truly tell the story of your love through pictures.
