GOLDEN HOUR:

I know you probably have heard about golden hour and it being the best time of day for photos. I do agree that the golden light is super romantic and beautiful but it’s not necessarily always absolutely needed. You can still have amazing photos at this location at any hour of the day. For example, this shoot featured in this blog was shot mid day when sun was pretty bright and it turned out amazing.

If you do want to hit that golden hour light, you totally can and it will be amazing. That specific time depends on the time of year so earlier in the fall/winter months and later in the spring/summer months, always feel free to reach out if you are curious on what time makes most sense.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE GOLDEN HOUR WORK?

Totally ok if you can’t make golden hour work for your intimate day, I have more couples not do golden hour than do and they are some of the most beautiful sessions! Here is another gorgeous intimate wedding shot at the Pasadena City Hall.
